Classroom Expectations

     1. Be responsible  --  Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

     2. Be respectful  --  Be polite in words and actions.

     3. Follow directions.

     4. Upon entering the classroom, go directly to assigned seats and prepare to start work.  No disruptive behavior.

     5. Bring paper, pencil, books, and completed homework assignments everyday.

     6. No gum, candy, or toys.

 

Rewards

     1. Verbal praise.

     2. Little notes in homework folders letting parents know what a good job the student has done that day.

     3. A positive environment that makes learning fun.

     4. The opportunity to share with others their achievements.

     5. Good choice parties.

 

Consequences

     1. Verbal warnings will be issued for inappropriate behaviors (2-3).

     2. If verbal warnings do not stop the behaviors, loss of recess or a detention will be issued.

     3. If behaviors continue or are severe, a visit to the office will occur.

 

Grading Scale

     90-100 -- A

     80-89  -- B

     70-79  -- C

     60-69  -- D

     59 and below -- F
